At least four people were killed and three others injured after a Russian overnight strike targeted Kyiv on November 25, APA reports, citing RBC-Ukraine.
Early morning update
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service later reported that the mass air attack on the capital wounded at least four people and caused widespread damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Emergency crews rescued nine people from affected sites.
In Kyiv’s Pechersk district, a 22-storey residential building suffered significant structural damage. Firefighters extinguished a blaze on the fifth floor and rescued one individual from the debris. Search-and-clear operations are ongoing.
The Dniprovsk district was also hit, where a nine-storey apartment building sustained damage. The strike triggered fires on the sixth and seventh floors, and emergency teams were able to rescue a total of eight people.
Authorities continue assessing the full extent of the damage as rescue operations remain underway.
