Today in Brussels, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans and his Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmygal signed an agreement to jointly produce drones, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans posted on "X", APA reports.
"A new milestone: Ukraine and The Netherlands are going to produce drones together in both our countries. With my Ukrainian colleague Denys Shmyhal I sign an agreement for co-production (‘Build With Ukraine’). This strengthens our joint security, resilience and innovation," Brekelmans noted.
The Dutch minister stressed that his country will allocate an additional 250 million euros under the PURL initiative, which involves NATO countries purchasing weapons from the United States for Ukraine.
