The US is committed to the security of Europe, said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, APA reports.
“When looking at the document related to the national security strategy released by the White House, it becomes clear that the United States, as always, remains committed to NATO and ensuring Europe’s security. The U.S. was simply asking us to make greater efforts and increase our military spending and activity. And we are doing that,” Rutte said.
