In Germany, more than half of women do not feel safe in public places, APA reports.
This was reflected in the results of a public opinion survey conducted by the Civey sociology institute for the Funke media group.
According to the survey, 55% of women stated that they do not feel safe in any of the listed public spaces, which include streets, public transport, and parks.
In their opinion, clubs and train stations are considered the most dangerous places. Only 14% of the women who participated in the survey said they feel safe there.
The survey was conducted between October 23 and 27. A total of 5,000 people took part in the survey.
