Former Chief of Staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Andriy Yermak announced that he was going to the front just hours after submitting his resignation, APA reports, citing the New York Post newspaper.
"I am going to the front and I am ready for any repression. I am an honest and decent person," he said.
The report also stated that the former head of the Office apologized for not answering calls anymore.
He did not provide information about when and how he intends to go to the front, or whether he will join the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Despite being in Kiev since February 24, 2022, I was disgraced and my dignity was not preserved. Therefore, I do not want to create problems for Zelensky - I am going to the front. I served Ukraine and was in Kiev on February 24, 2022. Maybe we will meet again. Love to Ukraine," the former head of the Office added.
