European Union countries have decided to abandon their “counter-proposals” as part of discussions on the plan put forward by the United States to resolve the Ukraine conflict, APA reports, citing Le Monde.
According to the newspaper, although European leaders are dissatisfied with Trump’s peace plan, they have accepted it as a basis for a future agreement in order to avoid tensions with the U.S.
It is reported that European leaders have concluded that the most effective approach toward Trump is to “be the last party to speak with him.”
