France has never planned to be on the front line in the Ukraine war, said French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with RTL, APA reports.
“The main security guarantee is a strong Ukrainian army. After a peace agreement is signed, guarantor forces will be sent to Ukraine. But we have never planned to be on the front line. We need to dispel the emerging misconceptions about our youth being sent to Ukraine,” Macron said.
The French leader also considers it reasonable for Kyiv to make amendments to the peace plan prepared by the United States.
