Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė will visit Poland today, APA reports, citing LRT.
According to the information, during the visit, she will discuss regional defense and the strengthening of borders with Belarus and Russia with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Ruginienė stated that they will also touch upon issues related to Ukraine with her Polish counterpart.
“At the same time, strengthening the defense of our region is on the agenda, and we can do this together... We have a sufficiently strong strategic direction — the border zone,” emphasized the Lithuanian Prime Minister.
The meeting of the Prime Ministers will take place after recent incidents of Russian UAVs and aircraft entering the airspace of NATO members Poland, Estonia, and Romania, as well as two Russian drones entering Lithuania this summer.
