Attempts by certain forces to implement a “Ukrainian scenario” in Georgia have failed, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, thanks to Georgia’s uncompromising position and struggle, it was possible to avoid a negative scenario for the country.
“This required great effort. Because we fought to preserve peace in Georgia, we faced strong pressure and unfair attitudes. Unfortunately, our friendly country, Ukraine, was not able to do what we did. This is a very tragic situation. The deplorable humanitarian consequences of the war are known to everyone,” Kobakhidze added.
The Prime Minister noted that Georgia must continue its struggle to preserve stability and further economic development.
