As a result of the earthquake in Istanbul, 17 people were injured, said Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, APA reports, citing Turkish media.
According to him, the injured were hurt after panicking and jumping out of buildings.
The governor also noted that no damage was recorded as a result of the earthquake.
