The army said that the Israeli political leadership has given instructions to accelerate preparations for the implementation of the plan. An official, who did not want to be named, noted that the Israeli army is currently only in a defensive position in Gaza and is not conducting active offensive operations. The official also said that no forces have been withdrawn from the Gaza Strip.
It should be noted that Trump is trying to fulfill his promises to stop the war and return the hostages by the second anniversary of the attack that took place on Tuesday.
