The international security forces to be deployed on the territory of Ukraine will operate with the support of a strong Ukrainian army and under the monitoring of the United States, said Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, APA reports, citing the Ukrainian media.
According to him, a decision was made at the talks held in Berlin regarding “very strong” security guarantees for Ukraine.
The Prime Minister noted that these guarantees will cover not only the international security forces but also the strong Ukrainian army and the monitoring of the contact line to be provided by the United States.
“This allows Zelenskyy to negotiate with Russia. It is not comfortable, but he will understand that Ukraine is secure,” Schoof emphasized.
The Prime Minister added that the “Coalition of the Willing” is actively working on the ceasefire regime and knows precisely how it will be technically ensured.
