The Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia was summoned to the German Foreign Ministry, APA reports.
"Today, the Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia was invited to Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office). We conveyed a clear message: the unfounded accusations and aggressive rhetoric by Georgian authorities against the German ambassador in Tbilisi are unacceptable and must stop," the German MFA posted on X.
Note that Germany’s ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, was summoned to the Georgian Foreign Ministry on September 24. The Georgian side expressed concern about the diplomat’s attempts to promote a radical agenda in the country.
