German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul expressed cautious optimism about the ongoing negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, stating that a "decisive week" for conflict resolution efforts is approaching, APA reports.
"I am cautiously optimistic that there is now a real chance for a ceasefire and that negotiations on equal terms are possible," Wadephul said on ARD television . "We are entering a decisive week," he asserted. The minister also stated that Russia must be included in the negotiation process.
