German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán have had a disagreement over support for Ukraine and security issues, Bloomberg reported, citing sources, APA reports.
It is noted that the incident took place during the European Political Community summit held in Copenhagen, during discussions on how to better protect Europe from Russian threats and support Ukraine.
According to the sources, Merz harshly criticized Orbán and accused him of undermining efforts to ensure the alliance’s security.
