German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will meet Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Berlin on December 9, Sebastian Hille, Deputy Representative of the German Government told journalists, APA reports, citing TASS.
According to the information, the meeting will focus on bilateral economic cooperation, regional issues, and the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“On Tuesday at around 16:00, the German Chancellor will welcome the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, with a military ceremony at the Federal Chancellery. The subsequent talks will be dedicated to bilateral economic cooperation, regional issues, and the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Hille said.
According to him, a joint press conference by the leaders is planned after the talks.
