Itsik Moshe was summoned to the State Security Service (SSS) in connection with the spread of disinformation about the threat of terrorist acts in Georgia, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Georgian SSS.

According to the report, Moshe said that he received the information from a Knesset member, who was in turn provided with the information by a representative of the Knesset Ethics Commission.

It was emphasized that Moshe could not name a more specific and serious source of information.

"As for the question of why he told the media representatives that the Georgian side had been warned about the threat, Itsik Moshe completely denied this fact. According to his explanation, he told journalists that if the threat were real, the Georgian side would definitely have been informed about it," the SSS said in a statement.

The agency once again called on everyone to refrain from spreading such absurd, meaningless, and unverified information that harms Georgia.

Note that Itsik Moshe is a businessman. He is the president of the Georgia-Israel Chamber of Commerce and the founder of "Israel House".

Neither the Georgian nor the Israeli special services had information about the terrorist threat in Georgia, and, accordingly, the information was not shared with anyone, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Georgian State Security Service (SSS).

It was noted that the SSS is in contact with representatives of the Israeli special services. "They expressed surprise at the inaccurate information that has been spread. It is a great pity that such information has been spread by some Georgian media outlets without checking with us. We call on everyone to refrain from spreading harmful and unverified information about Georgia," the statement says.

Some media sources reported that the planned visit of several members of the Knesset to Georgia this weekend was canceled due to a terrorist threat. According to the information, the Israeli MPs were supposed to participate in events held in Georgia as part of the "Israel Week" and the Georgia-Israel business forum.
