Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party is preparing a lawsuit against the BBC television channel, the speaker of the Georgian parliament, Shalva Papuashvili said, APA's local bureau reports.
He noted that lawyers are already working on the lawsuit.
"The legal assistance of the British side will also be used to prepare the lawsuit. We will use all legal mechanisms to expose the BBC's lies," the speaker added.
Note that a recent BBC plot alleged that toxic chemicals from the First World War were used to disperse protests in Tbilisi in 2024. The State Security Service of Georgia immediately launched an investigation into the material and proved that no banned substances were used during last year's riots.
