"It is well known that Azerbaijan is a special friend of Georgia," said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, APA's local bureau reports.
He noted that he had a very cordial meeting and conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart in Turkmenistan.
"Very good relations have been established between the governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan. Based on this, I believe that we will not have difficulty finding a common language on any issue," Kobakhidze added.
Regarding transportation from Azerbaijan to Armenia via Georgia, the prime minister said that the form in which the transit will be carried out is the subject of negotiations:
"It is undoubtedly important for us to take into account the interests of both the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides. We also have our own interests. I believe that on the basis of negotiations we will easily find the best way that will satisfy the interests of all three countries."
