President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili has dismissed as fake the reports claiming that a photo showing him with U.S. President Donald Trump in New York was fabricated, he stated this in a comment to journalists, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, TV channels, parties, and NGOs belonging to radical forces are misleading the public by spreading false information.
“The claims that my image was added to the photo are false,” the head of state said.
Kavelashvili noted that he had the opportunity to hold talks with the U.S. President, and Trump assured him that he would definitely return to the issue of restoring Georgia-U.S. relations.
