We hope that the US authorities' attitude towards Georgia will change, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in a statement to journalists, APA's local bureau reports.
He said that Georgia is patiently waiting for the US position.
"We hope that the completely rude and unfair attitude towards Georgia that existed until 2024 will change," Kobakhidze added.
The Prime Minister noted that Georgia is waiting for the US position: "We have made statements and are waiting for a response. Our actions will correspond to the response."
Note that the US suspended the strategic partnership with Georgia, established in 2009, on November 30 last year. Washington made this decision after the Georgian government announced that it would not bring negotiations on membership in the European Union to the agenda until 2028.
The Georgian government has repeatedly stated its readiness to restore the strategic partnership with the US from a clean slate and on the basis of a specific roadmap.
