Georgia welcomes the peace agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia through the mediation of the US President, said Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili in her speech at the 32nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, APA's local bureau reports.
According to her, this historic agreement is an important cornerstone for ensuring lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
"The agreement creates a solid foundation for opportunities for long-term stability and development in the region. Georgia continues to resolutely promote peace and regional cooperation. We are ready to work with all partners to implement international law, protect sovereignty, and ensure long-term peace in the South Caucasus and the OSCE region," Bochorishvili added.
