Georgian and Armenian Foreign Ministers discussed importance of regional peace

Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili met with her Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan within the framework of the 32nd meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers held in Vienna, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Georgia.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful strategic partnership between the two countries, and readiness to further deepen the existing close cooperation was once again confirmed.

The dynamics of high-level visits between Georgia and Armenia were positively assessed.

The heads of the MFA also exchanged views on the processes occurring in the region. The importance of establishing sustainable peace and stability in the South Caucasus and Georgia’s readiness to contribute to this process were emphasized.

The parties expressed their readiness for active cooperation in various fields to further develop and deepen relations.
