Responding to the journalist’s query, PM Kobakhidze stated that the information about Ambassador Taliashvili being summoned to the U.S. State Department “is a lie”, APA reports citing Civil.ge.
“You know that the summons is a diplomatic procedure, a diplomatic measure. She was not summoned even once. She had many meetings, including with the State Department and the State Department representative. As for the communication, this information is classified, and we can’t speak about it.”
Kobakhidze added that “we are speaking with each other openly, tell each other what we like and what we don’t. We always have very sincere conversations.”
