French President Emmanuel Macron believes the Ukrainian peace process is at a decisive stage, he stated at a meeting of the coalition of willing to assist Ukraine, APA reports citing BFMTV.
"We are clearly at a decisive moment. Negotiations are gaining new momentum, and we must seize this momentum," he said in his speech, broadcast on BFMTV.
"Finally, there is a chance to make real progress towards a good peace."
According to Macron, "the main condition for a good peace is a set of reliable, truly durable security guarantees, not paper promises." He believes that the primary goal of the coalition of the willing is to ensure these guarantees are met.
