Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during his speech at the European Political Union summit held in Copenhagen has called on European countries to recognize the real threat posed by Russia's imperialist ambitions and act accordingly, APA reports.
"I know that for some of you the threat posed by Russia is very clear, while for others it may seem distant. But we can no longer be naive. This war has never been just about Ukraine. It is about Europe, about all our countries, our citizens, our values and our freedom," Frederiksen stressed.
