The European Union will double its economic support for Greenland, the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen posted on her "X" account, APA reports.
"Europe and Greenland will always be reliable partners for each other. We want to deepen our cooperation. That is why we aim to double our economic support for Greenland. This way, we can provide clean energy and create the technologies of the future," Ursula von der Leyen noted.
