An informal summit on the peace plan in Ukraine is being held in Luanda, the capital of Angola, with the participation of leaders of the European Union states, APA reports, citing Evropeyskaya Pravda.
According to the information, the summit was called by the President of the European Council Antonio Costa.
Ten EU leaders are participating in the event, while other leaders joined the event via video link.
"The informal summit continues. The meeting is chaired by the President of the European Council. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, as well as the leaders of Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy and Ireland are participating," the source said.
At the same time, the leaders of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Finland, France, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, and Sweden also participated in the online meeting.
The main issue on the agenda is the EU's position on the peace plan for Ukraine, the results of the talks in Geneva on November 23, and a discussion of the European Union's future joint action plans.
