The European Union intends to stop using Russian liquefied gas by January 1, 2027, Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, said on her X account, APA reports.
Kallas has warned that those who assist Russia in the war will face the consequences: "Our message is clear: if you enable Russia’s war and try to dodge our sanctions, you will face the consequences. Today, we propose listing significant actors in third countries like China that are providing support to the Russian military industrial complex."
A European diplomat has recognized 118 more ships carrying Russian energy resources as a “shadow fleet” and stated that sanctions have been imposed on them.
"We are also going to make is easier to sanction individuals involved in the abduction and indoctrination of Ukrainian children," she said.
