The European Union has summoned the representatives of Russia and Belarus in Brussels to protest the "deliberate and dangerous" entry of Russian drones into Polish territory, APA reports, citing an EU representative.
"We have made it clear that this irresponsible action by Russia represents a serious escalation and a direct threat to the security of EU citizens," the EU official said.
Earlier, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic separately summoned the heads of Russian embassies in their capitals to their foreign ministries for explanations.
