The global system established after World War II is being shaken, and such criticism is increasingly being accepted in the Western world as well, said Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, APA’s Türkiye bureau.
He noted that despite the criticism, as a result of Türkiye’s policy, Syria has today attained freedom.
“Despite the harsh criticism directed for years at Türkiye’s Syria policy, today the regime in Syria has been overthrown, a new government close to Türkiye has been formed, and security and stability are strengthening. The fight against terrorist organizations continues more resolutely, and especially in northern Syria the complete elimination of terrorism is being targeted. Türkiye is reaping the results of the steps it has taken both in domestic and foreign policy and emphasizes that it stands on the right side of history,” Erdoğan said.
