As part of the investigation into the death of the famous Turkish singer Güllü, a preventive measure of arrest was chosen for her daughter Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was detained on the charge of "premeditated murder of a close relative", APA reports, citing Turkish media.
Sultan Nur Ulu, who was detained in Istanbul on December 9 on the charge of "premeditated murder", claimed in her statement given at the Yalova Police Department on December 12 that Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter pushed her mother Güllü out of the window.
After that, the prosecutor's office presented Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter to the court on the charge of "premeditated murder of a close relative" and the court decided to arrest her on the charge of "premeditated murder".
A judicial control measure in the form of house arrest was chosen for Sultan Nur Ulu, who was detained in the case. She was taken to his residence in Yalova under police supervision.
Arif Ulu and two others, who were detained as part of the investigation, were released after their statements to the prosecutor's office.
It should be noted that Güllü died on September 26 after falling from the balcony of her house in the Çınarcık district of Yalova.
