The process of making amendments to the peace plan for Ukraine is underway, said UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, APA reports, citing British media.
According to the British Prime Minister, some of the existing points in the 28-point plan proposed by the United States were unacceptable, but there are certain points in the plan that are of great importance for achieving a just and lasting peace.
"A just and lasting peace can only be established if certain conditions are met. Ukraine's sovereignty must be preserved, Ukraine must be able to defend itself in the future, issues related to Ukraine and its future must be determined solely by Ukraine, and elements related to Europe and NATO must be agreed by Europe and NATO," the Prime Minister emphasized.
He noted that there is still "a long and difficult road ahead", but Britain is working harder than ever on this issue.
