Yvette Cooper, UK’s new Foreign Secretary, has made her first official overseas visit in her new role to Ukraine, said Andrii Sybiha, Foreign Minister of Ukraine on his X account, APA reports.
"Today in the morning, together with AndriyYermak, I was pleased to meet Yvette Cooper, UK’s new Foreign Secretary at the Kyiv train station on her first visit to Ukraine as UK Foreign Secretary.
I told Yvette that we greatly value her personal commitment and the UK’s unfaltering support.
We will discuss the whole range of bilateral and international issues on our agenda, including peace efforts, transatlantic pressure on Russia, and scaling up defense cooperation between Ukraine and the UK," he stated on his post.
