36 Turkish citizens from the "Global Sumud Flotilla" ships seized by Israeli forces in international waters were sent home today on a special plane flight, APA reports, citing TRT "Haber". 

The plane carrying them arrived in Istanbul.

It was noted that a total of 137 citizens of various countries who were detained on the ships of the "Global Sumud Flotilla" arrived in Türkiye.

36 Turkish citizens on board the Global Sumud Flotilla ships seized by Israeli forces in international waters will be sent home today on a special plane, announced Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli, APA reports.

Keçeli noted that the Foreign Ministry is closely monitoring the fate of the country's citizens on board these ships seized by Israel in international waters and is continuing diplomatic efforts for the safe return of Turkish citizens.

"Currently, work is ongoing to determine the exact number of our citizens. Necessary procedures are being carried out for the return of other citizens to the country as soon as possible," Keçeli said.
