Baku – APA. Turkish State Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis said Saturday the European Union (EU) must display common and determined struggle against terror in all countries, APA reports quoting turkishny.com web-page.

In a speech delivered on "the Future Vision of Southeast Europe" at the "Croatia Summit" in Dubrovnik, Bagis said that southeast Europe was part of Europe.
The EU membership perspective is a crucial dynamic for change of southeast European countries, including Turkey, Bagis stressed.
Referring to Turkey’s importance for the EU, Bagis said that Turkey was a key country in solving the problems of Europe.
Turkey is important for the EU in overcoming the global crisis, in solving the security and foreign policy problems of the EU, in overcoming energy problems and in dealing with illegal human trafficking, Bagis said.
Turkey and the EU should sign an agreement for the liberalization of visas, Bagis said.
Touching on the issue of terror, Bagis said that terror acts take place in different corners of Europe.
The EU must display a common stance against terror. Unless each individual is secure, we can not be in security all together. When there is a fire in your neighbor, others can not take it easy. There is no such a concept as "your terror, my terror". We have to fight against terror together. Otherwise, terror, as a crime against humanity, can hurt other countries, Bagis also said.
Meanwhile, Bagis had a meeting with Kosovo’s Prime Minister Hashim Thaci in Dubrovnik within the framework of the "Croatia Summit" on Saturday.
