Deputy Board Chairman Vladimir Golubev said that Gazprom is ready to specify the volume and price indices of the gas agreements: “We consider the price of gas objectively, so ask your minister the possibility of price reductionâ€. Golubev also noted that. for an average Latvian family that consumes about 500 cubic meters of gas a year, only 35 percent of the total rate of pay enter the cashbox of Gazprom. The remainder of the price consists of local costs: taxes, the cost of gas and the profits of the Latvijas gaze.
Remind that, in January this year, Latvia has declared that the gas import from Russia was disadvantageous, and proposed to revise the gas contract with Russia.
