“Azerbaijan is increasing natural gas exports to Europe. Compared to 2021, the volume of exports to Europe has increased by 40%,” said Sariyya Bunyatova, adviser to the vice president of SOCAR, during her speech at the Baku Energy Forum held within framework of the Baku Energy Week, APA-Economics reports.
“The increased export was made possible by optimizing the existing infrastructure. Our main supplier country is Bulgaria. As SOCAR, we are discussing infrastructure expansion with European countries. In addition, SOCAR plans to implement new projects in oil and gas production and in the field of liquefied natural gas,” - Sariyya Bunyatova added.
