Oil prices on global markets ended the final trading session of the week lower, APA-Economics reports.
Brent crude oil futures for November fell by $0.42, or 0.47%, to $88.10 per barrel.
WTI crude oil futures for October fell by $0.13, or 0.16%, to $83.40 per barrel.
The decline in oil prices is attributed to easing supply concerns amid growing expectations that supplies through the Strait of Hormuz will normalize and continued diplomatic efforts in the Middle East.
