 SOCAR reduces oil export through Ceyhan port

Baku – APA-Economics. In December, 2012, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan’s Marketing and Economic Operation Department has exported 167,003 tonnes of crude oil through Novorossiysk port (Black Sea, Russia), 161,607 tonnes through Supsa port (Black Sea, Georgia), 1,647,460 tonnes – through Ceyhan port (Mediterranean Sea, Turkey).

SOCAR says in 2012, 2,064,000 tonnes were exported through Novorossiysk, 2,742,367 tonnes – through Supsa and 20,199,660 tonnes – through Ceyhan.

Compared with a year earlier, oil export from Novorossiysk increased by 0.6%, Supsa – by 3.4% and Ceyhan – dropped 12.06%.
