The Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Balluku Belinda in the UAE within the framework of COP 28, the Ministry told APA.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between the two states to a new level at the meeting. The important role of energy cooperation with Azerbaijan for ensuring energy security and development of Albania as a gas transit country was mentioned.
“We discussed the establishment of a JIC on the basis of the Azerbaijan-Albania Working Group, the gasification project of Korce city, as well as the development of energy cooperation between our TAP member countries,” – was emphasized.
