Azerbaijan decreases oil and gas extraction

State Statistical Committee says, 76.4% of output was produced in the mining sector, 18.3% - in processing sector, 4.8% - in production, distribution and supply of power energy, gas and steam, 0.5% - in water supply, waste treatment and processing sector: “In comparison to a year earlier, the output in mining sector decreased by 5.7%, in processing sector rose 7.9%, production, distribution and supply of power energy, gas and steam – 8.8%, water supply, waste treatment and processing sector – 2.6%â€.
Output in non-oil sector of industry soared 7.7%, in oil sector – 5.6%.
From mining sector, oil products made 32.8 mln tons, gas – 12.8 bln cm. Oil extraction dropped 7.6%, gas extraction – 34%.
During the 9 months, 15.4 bln KV/hour of power energy was produced, up 10.5% in comparison to a year earlier.
