Azerbaijan decreases oil export via BTJ

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In September, 2012, 2,261,957 tons of Azeri oil was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan main pipeline, down 4.4% from previous month.
State Oil Company of Azerbaijan says 22,925,721 tons of oil was transported via this pipeline during January-September, 2012, down 9.3% from year earlier. Totally, 198,703,421 tons of oil has been pumped in the pipeline since it launched.
Besides, 217,264 tons of oil was transported via BTJ during September, 2012, down 10% compared with a month earlier.
BTJ shareholders are: «BP Azerbaijan» (30,1%), AzBTC (25%), «Chevron» (8,9%), «Statoil» (8,71%), TPAO (6,53%), ENI (5%), «Total» (5%), «Itochu» (3,4%), Inpex (2,5%), «ConocoPhillips» (2,5%) and «Hess» (2,36%).
