SOCAR does not believe that Georgian parliamentary electionsâ€™ results will impact on its investments in that country

Baku. Ali Ahmadov - APA-Economics. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) realizes own investment projects in accordance with the international standards and laws of the country, in which it operates, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said while responding the question on possible impact of victory of the opposition in parliamentary elections in Georgia on SOCAR investments, APA reports.

â€˜Investments of SOCAR do not depend on position changeâ€™, noted Abdullayev.

â€˜I do not expect any changes in our projects. We are the biggest taxpayer in Georgia, we realize the hugest projects there. I donâ€™t believe that, anybody can kill the hen, which lays golden eggsâ€™, added SOCAR President.
