Azerbaijan decreases crude oil export

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-ECONOMICS. SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department has exported 159,600 tons of crude oil through Novorossiysk port (Black Sea, Russia), 322,980 tons – through Supsa (Black Sea, Georgia) and 1,654,929,000 tons – through Jeyhan port (Mediterranean Sea, Turkey) in September, 2012, down relevantly 24%, 2.5 % and 15.6%, compared with a previous year.

Totally, 1,434,195 tons of crude oil were exported through Novorossiysk port, 2,176,887 tons – through Supsa and 15,505,602 tons – through Jeyhan during January-September, 2012. Crude oil export through Novorossiysk and Jeyhan decreased by 1.7% and 12.2% and through Supsa - increased by 4.2%, compared to a year earlier.
