Industrial production drops 3% in Azerbaijan

State Statistical Committee says production in non-oil sector grew by 8.8%, while production in oil sector dropped 5.1%.
77.5% of industrial production was in mining field, 17.1% – in processing sphere, 4.9% - in electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply section, 0.5% - in water supply, waste treatment and processing.
During the reporting period, production in processing field rose 14.6%, production of food production – 5%, drinking – 14.4%, the production of weaving industry products doubled, clothes products – 1.8 times, Polygraphy - doubled, rubber and plastic – 3.7 times, construction materials – 19.5%, metallurgy – 10.7%, finished metal production- 1.9 times, computers and other e-equipments – 17.5 times, electrical equipments - 3.3 times, other transport facilities – 15.1%, furniture – 3.9 times, machinery and equipment installation and repair – 53.3%.
Production in water supply, waste treatment and processing section grew by 2.55%.
