Iraq oil exports hit 23-year high

Baku - APA-Economics. The Ministry of Oil in Baghdad, Monday, the height of its oil exports for the month of April, to about 2.0005 million barrels a day, stressing that such exports are the highest in 23 years.

The spokesman said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in an interview for “Alsumaria News”, “Iraq has made rising significantly to its oil exports for the month of April, at a rate of 2.0005 million barrels a day,” noting that “these exports is the highest since 1989″.

Jihad said that “the total oil exports for the month of April, amounted to 75 million and 300 thousand barrels at a rate of 2.0005 million barrels a day, compared to March the total production of Iraq, where 71 million and 827 thousand barrels per day at a rate of 2,000,317 barrels a day,” noting that “Income derived by the sale of oil amounted to eight billion and $ 795 million and at $ 116 and 799 cents per barrel.”

He added jihad that “the total exported quantities of crude oil for the month of April last, from the Basra oil reached 63 million and 500 thousand barrels and revenues amounted to 7 billion and $ 449 million,” pointing out that “the volume of oil exports from Kirkuk oil reached 11 million and 800 thousand barrels, and revenues billion and $ 346 million. “
The official emphasized that “the increase in exports thanks to the southern port floating return, which entered two of them out of the five ports of the service, which has achieved in the flow of oil exports to the outside and also thanks to the oil tankers that carried crude oil from oil fields.”
