Industrial production drops 2.6% in Azerbaijan

State Statistical Committee says production in non-oil sector grew by 11.2% and made 17.1% of industrial production, while production in oil sector dropped 5.2%.

AZN 78.2% of industrial production was in mining field, AZN 16.2% â€“ in processing sphere, AZN 5.1% - in electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply section, 0.5% - in water supply, waste treatment and processing.

During the reporting period, production in processing field rose 15.5%, production of food production â€“ 2.1%, drinking â€“ 14.4%, the production of weaving industry products â€“ 94.5%, clothes products â€“ 40.8%, Polygraph - 3.8%, rubber and plastic â€“ 3.1 times, construction materials â€“ 14.9, metallurgy â€“ 1%, finished metal production- 87.4%, computers and other e-equipments â€“ 24.3 times, electrical equipments - 3.9 times, other transport facilities â€“ 16.2%, furniture â€“ 3.8 times, machinery and equipment installation and repair â€“ 74.5%.

Production in water supply, waste treatment and processing section grew by 5%.
