SOCAR President creates commission to investigate the incident in Sulutepe settlement

According to APA-Economics, a commission was established to investigate the incidents, photo and videos, other materials and acts of SOCARâ€™s Security Department with law-enforcement organizations to prevent the illegal building in the areas considered for oil and gas operations.

The order requires to gather the information about acts by Security Department on 18.04.2012, investigate the information spread in media, determine the circle of employees who did not fulfilled functions or fulfilled not necessarily and acted illegally against the journalists and take necessary measures about them; gather detailed information about persons who built illegal buildings and apply to relevant law-enforcement agencies to bring to responsibility; take measures to give information to public about acts of commission, provide the fulfilment of duties arising from this order. Security Department must realize enlightening, important agitation measures to prevent illegal acts of employees, obey the legislation of Azerbaijan in conflict condition and SOCARâ€™s internal normative documents and organize agitations for personnel to obey model conduct rules during such incidents.
