Azerbaijan to complete development of current oil refining complex by 2015

â€œThis year we intend to start works on increasing production capacity of primary oil processing plant at Baku oil refining factory named after Heydar Aliyev and complete all works in 2014. Currently, a feasibility study is prepared. The contractor company has been selected, a contract will be soon signed with Foster Wheeler.â€

To him, this year, the quality of petrol is expected to be increased, too: â€œA project is being drafted in this direction. The project will be completed in 2014. an agreement will be signed with UOP company in relation to it. At the same time, the volume of diesel fuel to cover 2012-2013 is on the agenda. At present time the quality of this fuel meets Euro-2 standard.

Besides, Mammadov noted that reconstruction works were underway on reducing electrical energy at Azerneftyag plant.
